Sóller

Sóller and its picturesque harbour town of Puerto de Sóller are also known as the "Golden Valley of Oranges" - this is a very fertile area in the middle of the Serra de Tramuntana. The town center of Sóller is located three kilometers inland from the coast and has numerous large supermarkets, stores, restaurants and cafés as well as a market hall where you can buy fresh local produce.

Every year in March, Soller celebrates the Orange Festival, which showcases the best of the annual orange harvest alongside music, snacks and much more. Not far away is Puerto de Sóller, a picturesque harbor town that stretches along a circular, dreamlike bay. The beach promenade and the Paseo Maritimo offer numerous small, charming cafés and restaurants from which you can watch the maritime hustle and bustle.

There are two wonderful beaches in the bay of Puerto de Sóller. Both are covered with fine white sand, have a shallow slope and are virtually current-free. The capital Palma with its international airport is around 34 kilometers away
